2011 Planting Day 23rd July

TBLMA Community Planting Weekend 23rd  July 2011

Thank you to all the community members, UWA students and Emmanuel Catholic College Bush Rangers who joined us on Saturday 23rd July 2011 to help plant seedlings

Through the hard work of a dedicated group of volunteers we were able to plant over 30,000 seedlings.  The majority of seedlings were planted at the Helena Road and Qualen Road properties on Saturday.  The Emmanuel Catholic College students then helped plant the remaining 2,500 seedlings at the Talbot Hall block on Sunday morning.

We would like to thank the Department of Water for sponsoring the BBQ lunch.  A wonderful evening BBQ was sponsored by TBLMA that ended the successful day.  The True York Line Dancers provided a demonstration then invited those who could still move after such a strenuous day to join in some Line Dancing.
